Dear grief:
You strangled me
As I snuggled into your hugs
I remember your joy
Toying with my lungs

Dear hate:
I remember the excitement
The bruises you left
Told me to "look at the concept"
As you sneered at me, you never left
Oh I smiled as you burned my flesh

There I go thinking of the past, it's dead
Here I go feeling no peace, just dread

You'll never get to break me
Emotion's ran me deep
They had prevented me from sleep
I looked elsewhere ignoring them
And yet the emotions tried to brush my lips again

I want to tell you, my sweet emotions,
I used to be yours
The past is, the past
And little by little, I don't know you

What to live for

In this milestone
It's turned me under
I feel so alone
And for once I wonder

I used to feel so alive
Through the break up; I stood strong
Yet I fell astride
The empty bliss; its too wrong

Scared again I tremble
What do I live for?
I walk and run, I stumble
I gaze at nothing like a shamed whore

No inspiration
The stress's aggression
Lead me to an uproar
As silent as the ocean shore

Will I soon find?
Whatever, whoever
Will I run out of time?
Everyone has a goal, where's mine?

It Came From The DarkIt Came From The Dark:

Amongst the ashes, swirling from the darkness of the pit,

Emerged a hand, dragging a battered body across the rocks.

Blood leaked from the wounds so callously self-inflicted,

And teeth ground with a focused determination and seething anger.

It cared not for the warm rubies - staining the jagged rocks,

It cared not for the sensation of pain...

All that it remembered was a dream, An obsession -

One that drove it ever higher; ignoring all else!

Eventually it emerged from this shadowy hole, this dreary depth,

And in that moment, it learned of the truth.

For this creature, denied sunlight and warmth -

was me...

Love Dies hard

Most dismisses it to the floor
Yours never goes far
Mines? I wish it like yours

I am peeling it away
Inch by inch
Your lectures, I'm so dismayed
You're done so throw me in the ditch

The painful pull
Of such emotions
My heart's so dull

For my feelings

For my slow healing

For the negativity
But not for being me

Torment

I'm all by my self
Don't need anyone else
I have my moments
In lying in my torments

They stare on through
And I don't know why I do this
I spread myself like glue
Tormenting myself, and others

So much happiness
I deny with a smile
Because I know I'll fall
Because I don't believe you at all

MemoryThe taste of your lips, I savor
the memory lingers
with an unnamed flavor
Makes me shiver

The look of your eyes, an abyss
I intently stare
those dark eyes that I miss
as I remember

Your smile, so formidable
makes me melt
makes me tremble
with the love I felt

Your voice, the way you use to grunt
Made me laugh when I felt down
Your crazy stunts
burn me inside and out

Your skin, so incredulously
the memory of your arms
Fit around me
As I cry, when you saw my scars

The way that your cared
Always concerned
Made me feel so, so scared
It was unreal, so absurd

And now that your gone
I feels so, so alone
As I listen to our so

Crimson SeaSuddenly
It sickens me
Again I'm face with this
But yet I enjoy it

This cruel desire
Burns its thoughts in my head
My soul cannot man-over
The dead floating ahead

Bleeding dry
This casket will not fail
It's my protector as we set sail
The ocean of blood

It sickens me
But I enjoy it
The way its done
The way the skin tares

I try to close my eyes
But something keeps them open
In agony I cry
As I lay there frozen

Its been so long on board
The sea is endless
There seems to be no shore
My pain is endless

They Watch UsThey Watch Us:

Perched high upon the mountains;
With wings as black as night.
They watch us in the hour,
Before darkness turns to light.

I've seen them in my visions;
In dreams they come and go,
But the things they seem to tell me
I guess nobody should know...

I've seen children that are buried,
Beneath a frozen lake.
A maiden sits there weeping;
Her heart is soon to break.

The crows flutter downward,
A noose amongst their hands.
They take the maiden away,
To a dark and distant land.

And even if I follow -
Even if I try...
I'll simply end up buried,
Where the frozen children lie.

He stands before the adoring crowd,
Basking in their cheers and standing ovation.
But he has already been dishonoured -
By means of his perverse innovation.

For none could know of the dark secret;
About the art that he claims to be his own.
It is naught but an illusion, smoke and mirrors -
A theft for which he must atone...

But this disgusting creature, this worthless abhuman;
So desperate for the glory which he sees upon the stage!
Will quietly don the skin of another;
An urge he must assuage...

Biting his nails, a cracked smile upon his lips, he whispers:
"No one will know, no one will find it and I am great..."

Frantically he scrambles away from the dark
Eager to be free of his waking nightmare
Acting only upon the instinct within him;
Reminded constantly that he is prey

For some time he hides in the pervasive shadows—
Earnestly praying that he will not be discovered
A single sound is all it takes to jar him;
Running from a creature that he can barely see

From head to toe it is certainly monstrous
Enshrouded in an aura of absolute repugnance
As the acid drips from its cruel jaws,
Rapidly dissolving the ground below

Fearful, he cowers, beneath boxes and cardboard,
Escaping away into a tiny corner of his mind
Alone with only

Sensual TortureSensual Torture:

You are but a simple pawn;
Caught in a maelstrom of ill feelings and turmoil.
You were not meant to be here -
But unfortunately, here you are my friend...

Now then, I do not wish to drag this out;
There is no purpose in badgering someone who knows so little.
However - without your confession - I'm afraid that
I would not know whom I should share my - pleasures with...

Though I'm certain that you will be sharing plenty...

Of course, it will probably be a poor idea to make you scream,
At least not while I'm still enjoying your fear.

I'm sinking into the shadows
Slipping consciously
Even though I'm hollow
Feelings within me burn furiously

From all around
Not making a sound, up and down
Side to side with a broken face
As I sink in outer space

Stars are passing me by
those little stars shine brightly
For me as to show off their power
Standing tall like a flower

And like a flower, the stars dry up
Their powers feeling like a ton
Of weight they cannot handle
And their light burns out like a candle

So, I'm sinking into the shadows

Even though I'm hollow

Its more than just a dream

I agree, a link to the original would be in order. BUT....

Quit whining. Out of the millions of photos she could have chosen she picked that one. So stop with the asshattery and be happy that someone appreciates their art enough to want to put it to something.

Great poem BTW. If all of you other so called artists can't appreciate someone using your work for something, don't post at all.
