Deserved

You see me differently

Darkness

Dark tunnels
Through which I see
An endless road
Of pure cold misery,

And although I've dreamt
Of a place of light,
Black fog rolls forth
And covers my eyes.

There is no escaping it,
The darkness of my soul,
The dark pit in my heart,
The loss of life's spark,

And although I've tried
To avoid this being,
With a grim smirk
I have seen
The monster in my eyes.

And oh, how sickly sullen
My mind has become
With the opaque illness
Too sickened to just let me die.

Oh god,
I want to die.

For, with death comes relief,
An eviction from this bitter world,
So filled with lies and chagrin
Just let it end.

Let me be done
With this agony,
This torment

I lived a lie

A stagnant moment it took to rise
for conflicts within, abstained my eyes
to divert from those slabs of stone.
A crime repeated, condemned, atoned.
Although such crimes are ripples of past,
such ripples, oh why you travel so fast?
Reminders of a crime repeated,
same words, same etches again mistreated.

Long ago intertwined with me;
was an essence of truth and serenity.
But Glad was I? No feelings did stir.
I cruelly stomped the love in her.
I ended a smile, I shattered a heart;
shred the web of love apart;
I swelled a tear in her forlorn eyes,
she closed those eyes, a sniff did rise.
A smile again, though very weak it w

Reaching Out.I'm reaching out with my hands
Expecting you my love to embrace me,
But when I close my hand and see that you
Have not yet grasped on,
It hurts.

With every time I open my hand
To this painful empty feeling,
It tears this hole in my heart open
Letting it fill in with sadness,
And letting it become deeper.

So I let my nails grow out
Not expecting for anyone to latch on,
Continuing to grasp this desolate air
I find my self falling down in despair,
But then I see you reaching out
To grab my lonely hand out from the dark,
But alas I cut you,
I lost the sense of caring,
My nails and my heart,
Have become too sharp for this hand

Conversations

these conversations
these vultures
circling above the broken maimed
carcass of our relationship
just let it die

it is time that we finally give up
stop trying to rebuild it
we just cannot do it any more
I am spent
I cannot do this any longer

so one sided and false
these lies I never prescribed to
these complications
that we cannot overcome
I'm tired of fighting it

They couldn't have even tried,

As they speak professionally,
I wish they had understood...

It was a rainy day

Surrounded by the muddy floor

Its the small things around me
The little moments, of peace

Obstacles mean nothing, all is left in sublime

Innocent born into sin
Almost like a test
To see who'll win
Like baby birds from the nest

Its a strange world
Too young, with much experience
So naive to the absurd
In each generation, we see the carnage

MemoryThe taste of your lips, I savor
the memory lingers
with an unnamed flavor
Makes me shiver

The look of your eyes, an abyss
I intently stare
those dark eyes that I miss
as I remember

Your smile, so formidable
makes me melt
makes me tremble
with the love I felt

Your voice, the way you use to grunt
Made me laugh when I felt down
Your crazy stunts
burn me inside and out

Your skin, so incredulously
the memory of your arms
Fit around me
As I cry, when you saw my scars

The way that your cared
Always concerned
Made me feel so, so scared
It was unreal, so absurd

You can't see me
You can't tell me who I want to be
What can I do to
Convince you
That I am all you'll ever need?
And I start to understand
And I smile in my sleep

Death watcher
Dream taker
Stone believer
Heart breaker

I watch you Mr. Death
I know what you want
Dying is you're greatest
Torture, you taunt
Me with life
I smile knowing
You can't get me this time

So forgive the misgivings
I've tried so hard to find you
I even see you in my dreams
You're face turned blurry and hued
And I waved goodbye to Mr. Death
As I breathed my last breath
As I smile in my sleep

The Poem is great!!!...Not sure if I agree with the use of unknown cover art...I know it makes it more attractive but, the original artist may not be fond of the idea if they are protective of their work.
